Plus point: location is good. Near to recreational area (Padang Polo where a lot food stall available in the afternoon) and can access to many other places easily. Minus: Limited parking breakfast was so-so (better don't include breakfast in your booking).

It is great that there were ample parking space for guests and it was really convenient - but the ample parking space was due to having very few guests to begin with! I think the room was spacious, but mattress for the bed is a bit old and may not be the most comfortable of mattresses - even a budget hotel like Tune have better beds. The complimentary buffet breakfast was awfully disappointing - there were bread, margarine, jam & peanut butter to make toast, there was porridge, fried noodles, leftover popiahs and hash browns that look like they were they frozen type one can purchase from supermarkets. Backpackers hostels in Thailand & Cambodia can provide better breakfast that this hotel in Ipoh! Utterly disappointing overall.

The hotel location is great for travellers who enjoy horse racing and quite convenient to visit shopping mall nearby. The only minus point is the room conditions are not very well maintained.

Was disappointed as the pictures aren’t the same as the actual hotel. Hotel is more run down. Wifi connection is very bad. Couldn’t get access for the wifi in the room. TV was not functioning well. But the room was comfortable. Food in the hotel is ok, but utensils plates and cups weren’t washed properly and most are full of stains.

I booked a room in Hotel Heritage Ipoh because my buddy was having his wedding dinner in the hotel's ballroom. Other than the prompt service from the staffs, overall I did not have a pleasant experience staying there. The non-smoking room I booked has a stale stench. The room phone is not even wired to the wall. Guests shares a single ironing board placed next to the common lift at every level. There were mold growing around the base of the toilet bowl and tiles of the shower room.

Well located in the city. No hassle free basement parking. Reception staff is friendly and courteous. If you park in the basement, make sure you do not have very heavy luggages as it is a walk up staircase to the lobby. The room is comfortable and spacious. However the room looks and feel tired. TV reception is poor and there is no remote control. There is no kettle, although coffee and tea are provided. There is no hair dryer, but got it upon request. There was no clothes hangers in the closet. Overall, a comfortable stay apart from those minor conveniences that were missing.

Poor lighting, but clean

I was unfortunate to get a room with a lot of lights not working. The fridge also didnt function which was a no no for me. Luckily i was switched to another room the next day. It was a better experience after that. The hotel management should aware of the room situation before they let people stay. Changing room is unpleasant. One thing though.. the windows cannot be locked, and there is a wide platform outside where people can walk along. So my sleep was not so peaceful. I could not shake off my paranoia.
