"We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna. This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa. The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm. "This lovely little area of Castelvetro was a pleasure to stay in! The Locanda rooms were spacious and had nice amenities for coffee and tea. "Hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Parkplatz im Hof, vorherige Kontaktaufnahme per WhatsApp, damit sichergestellt werden konnte, dass ein Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption ist. Zimmer geräumig. Im Hof eine kleine Sitzecke, um die Sonne zu genießen. Wir haben das Frühstück nicht genutzt, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Bei Abreise haben wir einen Kaffee erhalten, sehr nett - danke!"

"The only issue I experienced was with the television. The remote control did not work. The staff tried to replace it, but that replacement did not work. The third remote worked intermittently, the television only responded after pressing the buttons multiple times. It was almost impossible to navigate the channel guide. I gave up and by that time the reception was unstaffed."

"I stayed here on a whim. I’m a 43 year old Canadian (female & mother) travelling completely unplanned day-to-day and prefer “off the beaten path” this place was actually amazing! Such a welcomed posh, beautiful, sophisticated spot! Staff were so lovely! I can not recommend a stay here enough! Every detail was amazing! Worth every cent! (Food and wine was exquisite too!)"

"Immaculately designed and uniquely presented, feels like a brand new property surrounded by vineyards yet walking distance to town centre. Wonderful pool, spacious rooms with lounge area, not any old fridge but a Smeg, luxurious furnishings - feels special. Breakfast a little short on choice but still acceptable. Thoroughly recommend"

"This is a really fun Ferrari themed hotel about 2 miles from the Ferrari factory and museum. The breakfast every morning was the star of the show. Amazing food! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. They were able to call us a taxi each morning and that was nice. The room was pretty small and difficult to open up our suitcases, but we made it work and weren’t in the room for very long. Very comfortable beds too!"
