Great Value

Very much enjoyed this 4-star hotel at a very reasonable price. Quality furnishings, clean, comfortable, plus friendly staff whether at reception or the bar and restaurant. We had a lovely dinner, and great breakfast too. We will definitely keep this Modena BW on our go to list when traveling in Italy.

The room was spacious but the beds were terrible and was located right by the noisy lobby. It worked out and was convenient for our stay for a nearby wedding. Overall not bad and on par with other Best Western’s world wide. The best part was the excellent breakfast.

Fabulous Ferrari country hotel. Top notch. Nice touches include shower sandles and, gift box, Love waterfall showerhead and heated towel rack. Clean and quiet and a great Italian feel, get the breakfast. The Best Best Western I have been in.

A nice hotel just outside of Modena.

A very nice, clean hotel. We found the beds to be much harder than we like. The service at breakfast, although friendly, could be very slow. There was supposed to be some hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, but they were usually cold and poorly replenished

Not a great breakfast experience due to the selection of products and the staff seemed to be overloaded to handle the job. Well located within a 15-minute drive from the centre of Modena. The room we were awarded is spacious and provided with a nice balcony. Friendly staff at the front desk, a bit less in the restaurant. Easy parking facility with several parking spots.

We picked this hotel which was located in a town outside of the attraction we were visiting strictly because of its laundrey amenities. When asking how to do laundrey we were told differently by three different staff where the facility was which is understandable because of language barriers but the dryer was broken and there is only one washer and dryer available for the entire hotel. After washing our clothes, I then had to find a laundrey mat to dry. I wish I had chosen a different location.

if you don't drive don't go there at all

the lift is scary very old 80's like , hotel is fine but not help full what every direction we asked they don't know , can you believe they don't know how to rent a car , they don't know what is happening around them when a big concert was on , they don't help with direction , they never greet when you walk in hotel . hotel advertised with pool and we couldn't use pool we had to pay 20euros extra . the hotel is located away from any amities and public transport

Definitely not an “excellent” hotel

There is a large disconnect between the 8.8 “excellent” rating on Hotels.com and my experience having stayed at this hotel. The amenities listed in the hotel description are not all available at the hotel. Moreover, basic items such as ice are unavailable throughout much of the day and when obtained from the bar upon it opening at 18:30, the hotel wanted a supplemental payment. The shower pressure was horrible and water temperature was unacceptably cool. The room design on the third floor is extremely unfriendly given the low height of the external wall. Design choices such as placing the mini fridge in an area of the room with the lowest ceiling height is completely illogical. The ventilation in the room was unavailable as a result of being between summer (AC) and winter (heating) - as explained by the staff - making the room extremely stuffy in the evening. We asked the hotel if a floor fan was available to aid the situation, but unfortunately not. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this hotel given other choices nearby.
