"This was our second stay, our first was 3 years ago and we really enjoyed it. This time it lived up to everything we remembered. The room was generously sized, with a nice balcony. The parking is just opposite the hotel on the road in marked bays. The restaurant serves incredible quality foods, with great emphasis on local ingredients in most dishes. The first page of the menu lists where all the key ingredients are from. They even have an excellent selection of local drinks, including beers and wines. We enjoyed the wild garlic soup, local steak, and wild garlic pesto pasta, with a local Hefe Weisse and local Pinot Noir. On our latest stay we utilised the sauna and were very pleased with the quality of the sauna and relaxation facilities, there is a lot of attention to detail which makes the space very nice to use after a long day of hiking! We love it here, and we will return on a future road trip!"

"We had a fantastic stay and I’d recommend it. Check in was fast and friendly. Location is absolutely stunning, with great views and walks right outside the hotel. The room we were in was nice but a little dated , bathroom was modern with a great shower and plenty towels too. We booked dinner and that was top quality, breakfast didn’t disappoint but you need to pre order it as they explained it helps cut down on food waste. We hadn’t booked dinner and despite the restaurant being fully booked they got us in, that was appreciated. The staff were all very friendly. I’d definitely recommend this hotel . "
