"We stayed in this delightful family run hotel in Triberg for the night. The proprietors were so very helpful on our arrival and provided us with uncover parking for the motorcycle. We had a ground floor room in the annex building with a beautiful view of the town from the wonderful balcony area. The bed was very comfortable with crisp fresh linen and fluffy pillows. "The property has recently been renovated so was clean and tidy and very warm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with our limited German. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the extra."

"This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat. "This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. The service was friendly throughout. The view from the beer garden alone is worth coming for. 10/10 P.s. It’s a personal preference thing but I like to have two pillows. There was only one in the room so do ask at the desk if you prefer two"
