"Really attentive and nice staff. I had messaged the hotel regarding luggage service out of curiosity but they have noted this and reminded me of the service when arriving, a really nice touch. Rooms where clean and the laundry room is a plus. Hotel is also really close to Nishiki shopping street and walkable distance to Gion. Will definitely book again when returning to Kyoto."
"This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at. Clean, and very well equipped the rooms are so comfortable. Also the staff is unbelievable and very friendly. Finally didn’t do the breakfast buffet but did have lunch there one day and it was outstanding pasta. "
"All was great. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Great location, with Nishiki Market, countless restaurants, and grocery nearby. The only minor complaint I have is the slowness of filling the hot tub on the first day. On subsequent days it got better, however. The staff was very responsive through email.

"This is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasn’t perfect. 10/10. "
"Great location, near bus and a few blocks from the subway. Room was spacious and updated. Love the shower! Limited front desk hours, but not an issue. Clean towels were readily available. "
"We had an excellent stay. Convenient location for all of our outings. We appreciated the coffee bar, sampled sake one evening and were grateful for cold drinks when we arrived back from a long, hot day. Room was well appointed and perfect for our 5 day stay. "
