"Ishiahara is now my new favorite place in the world. The Ryokan at first seems humble, but the design, layout, and hospitality of it made me feel as if I was staying at the most luxurious hotel in the world. I look forward to staying here again!"
"We were able to book two rooms that were connected so there was some privacy. Smaller rooms. The hotel is on the Main Street so we were able to walk to Nishiki Market. "
"The hotel is in a great location, close to lots of shopping and dining options at all price points. We loved the gyoza restaurant across the street!
The nearby river is a lovely spot to walk along or to take a break.
The room was the largest we had of our two week trip and was very modern and clean.
There were always many staff available and they were helpful and efficient.
Overall this hotel appeared to be well managed and is an attractive hotel in a great location. "

Breakfast is served in the room either Japanese breakfast style or Western breakfast style. I liked Japanese breakfast style. Staff speaks English, professional, friendly, and helpful. There are complimentary personal hygiene items (hairbrush, razor, toothpaste, toothbrushes, face masks, etc). I like the shower, the location of the property, many...
"This property was outstanding. We loved absolutely everything about our stay. Our favourite part was having access to the onsen each day. Definitely made our experience unique and luxe. "
"Impressed with everything, cleanliness, comfort. Really complete everything Next time I will definitely stay again (but I will ask to stay in the same room around the corner (407) again)."
"Beautiful hotel at a great price. The rooms are large with tatami floors and futon bedding. Lots of space for luggage and bathrooms are very nice. The public onset is the highlight of this hotel - the hotel was not busy during my stay and we got to enjoy empty onsen in the early morning and late night. Hotel staff is cooperative and answer any questions, they even printed out gion matsuri map for us as we were confused about the route of the procession. Overall I would rate this hotel 5/5 for a...
