Clean room with good amount of space for 2 people with large luggage. Lots of food options nearby that we didn't have enough time to check out! Hiroshima City is walkable in general; we mostly walked from the hotel to all the main attractions. Loved that there was a momiji manju vending machine in the lobby!

We got to the hotel at around midday, 3 hours before check in time, and the staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel, which allowed us to go explore the city for the day and check in later on in the evening. The room was clean and tidy, good amenities, great bathroom, bed was quite hard.

Absolutely everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Hiroshima. The decor is a bit minimal. But the bed is comfortabel, the room was a good size, the shower was great and there are quite a few details that make a difference. Like quite a few hangers and a full size mirror. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed two nights here, location was close to lots of shops and dining though it's near the nightlife district. Facilities were modern, amazing rainfall shower though there was mould between the tiles so cleaning could be better. Rooms were more spacious than your typical business hotel and beds were comfy enough. Not a fancy stay by any means and definitely room for improvement but still a solid 5 stars in terms of value, you won't find anything better at this price!

A good value

We had another good stay at a Smile Hotel. Although the room was small (typical size in Japan), the bed and pillows were comfortable, the room very clean, the bathroom functional and spacious, great shower, location walking distance to many good restaurants and cafes. You cant open the window, but we had no problem with ventilation and they provided a humidifier. Would stay here again.

hotel hardware is quite new and user friendly. however for our double room, they only provided one chair and when asked, refused to add one more even for short use. as bed is quite high, it was difficult for the two of us to eat or chat in the room. shopping/eating places are plentiful and nearby.

We were in need of urgent accommodation as the Shinkansen was suspended due to rain so we quickly booked one night at the Smile Hotel Hiroshima. I am so glad we did! Beautiful and large room with a lovely bathroom. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and even rung our accommodation to inform them that we would be a day late. Totally took the stress out of the situation! I just wish we’d stayed at Smile Hotels throughout Japan as we now know how good they are! Area is very quiet but is so close to a shopping precinct and heaps of food options!

Excellent location. Close walk to Hondori Shopping Street, Loop bus stops around the corner at Tanakamachi. Kombinis and restaurants very close. Second stay, didn’t disappoint.

Hotel is really nice and located by one of the public bus. However early mornings only few trams works and its a bit of a walk from the hotel. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the peace park.lot of seven 11 and family marts around.
