The wife was a kind lady, who will help you easily if you need it, she also has a decent grasp of English so you shouldn't need much google translate, especially if you know a bit if Japanese yourself. The facilities may be a bit dated compared to big brands, but the staff, the food, view and the serene surroundings more than make up the fancy gadgets that might not be available. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations.
