"lovely place and people. However, I discovered a failure of communication from Expedia to the hotel. Expedia fails to inform the hotel whether the booking is fully paid. Without the voucher, the hotel had the booking but not this information. A system failure at the Expedia end."

"The property is secluded from all the small towns in the island but offers silence peace and comfort in the zone that it is located. The space was perfect for a family vacation of 5 people. I would recommend this property if staying in La Gomera for longer than 2 nights to make it worth your while. "

"Good central location. The bright room had a lovely view of the park. There was renovation work being carried out on the ground floor, which meant there was only a temporary reception, no bar or cafe, and the restaurant had less atmosphere than it otherwise would have done. There was no noise from the work, so it did not disturb us."

"The hotel is wonderful The infinity and swimming pools are great. We did the tasting menu and flight of wines as it was my wife’s birthday all dishes were superb, there was a lovely cake left for my wife’s birthday on our arrival, the gardens are wonderfully designed and the view of mount teide amazing.. The key standout of this hotel were the staff, every single one of them were amazing. They all went that extra step to make our stay 5 stars..The customer care was top notch so I would like to thank all the staff for making my wife’s birthday stay and mine a unique and memorable occasion.. Thank you Hotel Bancal "
