"The room and the view of the canal was brilliant. The staff was most helpful. I messaged while in airport to make changes to the booking. The hotel acted without fuss. Housekeeping was efficient to get the room cleaned around our schedule. I cannot fault this hotel at all."

"Great location, near west lake, night market and metro. Very grand from the outside, but rooms need major refurbishment. We stayed 2 nights and moved rooms after night one as room smelled badly of cigarettes and damp. Staff very helpful and moved us immediately but, whilst better, it still smelled ..."

Where to stay in Gongshu
Xihu
You might take some time to check out the lake views in Xihu. Spend some time visiting top spots like Hangzhou Botanical Garden, and catch the metro at Huanglong Sports Center Station or Huanglong Cave Station to see more of the area.
Downtown Hangzhou
