"We have been staying at this hotel over the past four years. Just recently, it became a La Quinta hotel. I will say that the staff and amenities of the hotel are just as good as they were in the past. The only negative about the property is the drive area to get in and out to the street. It is an elevated hump to drive over in and out of the street and a hard turn to get into the hotel. It’s better to go in and out the waffle House entrance I will stay here again when I’m in Asheville"

"We booked a room in the corner to face the city in order to avoid all of the noise from the highway on the other side of the building. Unfortunately, we got exactly what we were trying to avoid: A room on the third floor close to traffic on the highway and extremely noisy. We were informed because it was a third party booking, the information provided must have been inaccurate and they would not honor it. Also, they overbooked king size bed rooms. Otherwise, we thought the hotel was very nice and the corner room is nice and roomy. Our only complaint on the breakfast buffet is the food is not heated properly once out and the food tended to be cold. "

"Very nice property right in downtown Asheville. Staff was over the top friendly and very helpful. Starting with the valet to the front desk staff to housekeeping everyone was very nice. Room was very nice with extra touches like Bluetooth mirror and power shades. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains."

"Rooms have no TV. This is not prominent in either hotels.com or their web site. After a day walking around Asheville I was looking forward to watching the hockey playoffs in my room. What kind of hotel doesn't provide television in 2026? this isn't the 1950s. I was told this allows guest to disconnect. I can make my own disconnect decision by shutting off the set. Will not be going back."
