Great location. Some glitches with valet (couldn’t find my keys), housekeeping (didn’t clean room) and front desk (poor room assignment) but they overcame each and worked to make it right, which I appreciated. Good breakfast, great coffee pods in room, and the beds were very comfortable.
The property was very clean and well maintained. I found it to be a nice, relaxing and quiet environment. Easy walk into downtown and all that it has to offer.
The foundry hotel is ideally located within walking distance of most anything you could need in the downtown Asheville area. Their staff was most accommodating, courteous, and genuinely nice people.
The hotel had a great atmosphere. Nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Bartenders were excellent and the food at the restaurant was great. We had a very nice weekend there.
The pillows were not comfortable and it would be nice to have a small couch to get comfortable on.
Well appointed room otherwise but regular coffee would be appropriate vs espresso
Excellent food & service for breakfast. Beautiful renovated buildings connected with new compatible architecture make this hotel special in this historic part of Asheville.
Great hotel for an Asheville trip. Location is excellent and most downtown attractions, breweries, and restaurants are easily walkable.
The bar at night was a fun place to hangout with the other guests and talk. The poor bartender needed help though. Too many people for him to be making drinks and running late night bites.
Concierge lady had no idea what parking options were. Suggested we do street parking then said never mind it’s only 2 hrs. We arrived and she never confirmed the location just responded “I hope so” to us saying “I hope we’re in the right spot.” She did nothing to help either of us. Esp my mother with her bags, which wouldn’t be an issue, but she said it was her job prior. No front desk staff available upon check-in for a while. Housekeeping always left items behind. Other than that great food!
Unique property, well managed, wonderful and friendly staff, convenient to downtown

The room was spotless! The staff was helpful, polite and professional. The bed, bedding and pillows were SO comfortable!
I really appreciate the makeup mirror. Women of a certain age with eyesight the same age as I am appreciate magnification!
