Grey Highlands Packages (Flight + Hotel)

The whole experience was incredible and the beautiful woman at the front desk even upgraded my room for free!

You cannot check in any earlier than 4:00. The lobby and the 2nd floor area was full of people waiting to get in. We ended up sitting on the floor waiting till 4:00. Some people in our area called the hotel right before 4:00 and were told they would have to wait no early check in. So, 4:00 arrives and the lobby area is packed with people waiting to check in. Finally, 25 minutes later was given my keys. We had 4 people in our room and were told only 3 towels and 2 facecloths and hand towels available. If we wanted more we would have to come downstairs or call for more. This made no sense to me. Staff were very nice as they had to deal with unhappy people which was not their fault. I will not be coming back to this hotel.

Staff was very accommodating about early check in, as our plane landed before noon on the day of check in.

Great location, excellent restaurant and helpful staff

I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are booking through Expedia. We booked through Expedia, and it felt like we were not given the same attention as other guests. We had to wait until 4:00 PM just to receive our room keys, while Holiday Inn members appeared to be given rooms first. There were several other disappointing issues: * The Wi-Fi was very poor and unreliable. * There was an unpleasant smell in the hotel/room. * The room had no proper view, and the windows offered almost no visibility. * There was no swimming pool. * The breakfast was very expensive. * Overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the facilities and service provided. * Most surprisingly, the bathroom door did not even have a lock, which is a basic privacy requirement. Considering the price, I expected much better service, facilities, cleanliness, and attention to guests. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing and not worth the money.
