"Great property, very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay.
We booked an accessible room for my mum, and overall it worked very well. The room was spacious and easy to navigate with a wheelchair. My only suggestion would be to install a proper grab bar beside the toilet. The existing grab bar was located behind the toilet, which wasn't helpful for transfers.
Aside from that, the room was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay."
"The staff is bar none the nicest and most accomodating in the business!
The property is beautiful, full of amenities, and resort(y). It immediately feels like home! I also like that it is quieter than being in right the village (at least during my annual visits).
The only cleanliness issue (if you could even call it that), was collected dust on fixtures in the room (bedside clock, hanging lamps). This was not overly problematic, but I do have dust allegies - a quick wipe on my part, and all was good to go! (I imagine it is especially hard to keep up as I find everything I own comes back from Blue Mountain Village and surrounding area a bit dustier lol). Everything else was VERY clean!
Some wear and tear to carpets and towels, but again - I'm just offering an honest review - I did not find if off-putting or bothersome."
"This is absolutely unacceptable. I stayed here last week in another two-bedroom suite and had a great experience, which makes this even more disappointing. I am currently staying in Rooms 6111 and 6109 on a 2-day stay checking out friday May 29 , and upon entering we immediately found clumps of hair throughout the room. The carpets appear to not have been vacuumed properly, and one of the bedroom showers was absolutely filthy to the point where I had to rinse and clean it myself with the shower nozzle before using it.
The balcony was also dirty and clearly not cleaned, covered with bugs and residue. Once opening the drapes, the window sills were filled with dead bugs as well. This level of cleanliness is disgusting and completely unacceptable for a resort of this standard.
I am currently here right now and expect management to address this immediately. I would like a manager to contact me and provide a proper resolution as soon as possible.
I am posting a few photos, including the broken screen door and the filthy conditions we had to deal with. We ended up sweeping ourselves and cleaning the showers ourselves as well. If you had seen the condition of the room before we cleaned it, it would have been even more outrageous. We are not the type to complain and understand that sometimes things can be missed, so we decided to handle it ourse"
"Excellent communication, comfy beds, updated fridge/stove compared to pics so that was a nice surprise.
Unit itself had been renovated, but the ague of the building was apparent when looking closer at things. Loft area hadn't been dusted in a bit, but was clean otherwise."
"We spent our mini honeymoon at Pennys motel we are blown away by how perfect everything was! Check in was smooth the bar was amazing the cocktails were delicious and the oysters were perfect the staff were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the fire and the s’mores and the great people we met there! We will definitely be back!"
