"This was our first time in Lake Placid and staying at the Grand View Hotel. I can't say enough about how nice the staff was. They really made you feel comfortable. Our room was lovely with the balcony over looking the lake. Their private beach was a very nice secluded area. We had the beach to ourselves. We are definitely going back & will be staying at the Grand View. Breakfast w your eggs right in front of you😲as a delight also. Get thebuffet & watch them make"

"Overall a very good 2-day stay. Check‐in was ok. The elevators were out of order. So we had to use the service elevators. But the check-in itself was very easy. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to provide great service. We had a room on Main street. So it was a bit noise, especially when the garbage truck picked up garbage. I suggest trying to get a room on the parking lot side. The location was great- near everything!"
