What a pleasant place to spend the night! We especially enjoyed listening to old records on the turntable in our comfy room. The food at the restaurant below was delicious, and they were very accommodating to our dog, who travels everywhere with us. I highly recommend this hotel!

Accommodations were adequate in an older motel. Long flight of steps to main hallway. Room was clean and serviceable. Bathroom was very small.

The property’s best features are its location in Elizabethtown New York and that it has a wonderful restaurant onsite. I’ve been going to the Deers Head Inn for almost 20 years and this is the first time I found the rooms needing some attention both cleanliness-wise and upkeep - e.g., replacing broken items like blinds that don’t work and in my room, a rusty toilet brush set. Otherwise same lovely location.

Fun very historical inn. It is almost like a bead and breakfast. But just coffee. I have stayed in a few inns like this it is nice. I would like to stay longer the room was fun and eclectic.

The apartment was wonderful. Clean, spacious, and well equipped with all the necessities. The bed was comfortable. We did not make it to the restaurant and bar, or talk to any staff, but everything needed is sent by the owner via text before you arrive.

A true gem! What an unexpected treasure! We loved staying here. Great room and loved the record player. We had heard how nice the rooms were so the real surprise was the restaurant. Quite high end preparation, delicious food, great service and all wrapped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We’ll be back soon.

Beautiful historic inn! We loved all the books and albums! Having a grocery store next door was convenient. Elizabethtown was a short drive to other towns and hiking trails. We loved the beauty of the region and hope to return!

Clean and rustic!

There was an extra sitting room. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. The contactless check in was very smooth. Convenient location and the food at the restaurant was excellent!
