"Amazing hotel "

"Great location near trolley on St. Charles and shops/restaurants on Magazine, yet in an overall quiet location. Staff was super accomodating."

"Our stay at the Terrell House was wonderful. Michelle and the staff made sure our arrival went smoothly and explained everything we needed to know. You're pretty close to great restaurants and shops (about a half mile - walk or Uber). They recommended Gris Gris and it was great - we ate their twice in 3 days. Finally, the breakfasts were superb. When we come back to New Orleans, we'll stay here again."

"Unser Zimmer war nicht sauber (Haare, Schmutz, Flecken, klebrige Oberflächen, fleckige Handtücher) und enorm hellhörig. Wir hatten zu allem Pech noch extrem laute Nachbarn mit schrecklich schlecht erzogenen Kindern, sodass wir nicht nur den extremen Straßenlärm sondern auch noch Gestampfe, Gepolter und Geschrei von oben abbekommen haben. Nach Information der Rezeption wurde sich nicht einmal bei uns entschuldigt, geschweige denn ein anderes Zimmer angeboten - auch nicht, als wir explizit darum...

"This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. The ambience of this hotel and its rooms is good for couples. Never considered the importance of a hotel smelling really good until I got here - there's a wonderful scent in the general spaces of this hotel. The place is quite neat and the staff are always ready to help in anyway. The room was spacious. The location of the hotel is really good. As most people have said, the coach car is just at the front of the hotel. Magazine street is close by...

"A great stay! Upgraded to a king suite and a great breakfast every morning"

"Beautiful hotel but you’ll quickly realize how unorganized it is. Also our SHARED balcony door didn’t have a lock, and the bathroom door didn’t close. We had to wait around not once but twice when we tried to check in. When we finally checked in there was no one behind the desk and we had to wait for the next staff member to come into work.. apparently it was the persons last day and she left earlier than she was supposed to and didn’t even tell anyone. "There was nothing in the mini bar which surprised me. The main bars were well stocked. A very nice hotel I’d definetly go back. "

".OLD, dilapidated old, not quaint old. MANY, many stairs to get to your room and they are old metal stairs difficult to maneuver - no one to assist with luggage. No place to sit as you have to put your luggage on the plastic chair, No dresser - when I asked the staff she said I should just hang everything up. Even my underwear?  No mirror to check self before heading out. Light in bathroom unable to shed enough light to put on makeup. Curtains barely covered the window. A/C window unit was loud...

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt House I usually stay at the Hyatt Regency's but this was a pleasant surprise. Huge rooms and the fact that it was connected to the Hyatt Regency was plus because I was there for a conference and didn't have to walk outside was great. The icing on the cake was the breakfast, the spread options was A+ and the omelet station took it to the next level."
