If you are a WW II buff, this is the place to stay. Hotel is just walking distance to the WW II museum and the hotel is 1940’s decor and theme. Very nice and friendly staff and a feeling that you are in a different time.

The front desk staff is amazing! Second to none! The bar service was the best! The dining experience was underwhelming. I was served on a dirty plate plus the chicken breast was overcooked while the sweet potatoes were undercooked. The room was very stylish, modern, and roomy. The housekeeping not impressive. The first night the bottles of water weren't replenished and a dirty glass wasn't replaced with a clean one but the floor was swept, the bed was impeccable, and the bathroom was wonderful. The next night was the opposite, clean glassware, replenished waters, dirty pillow cases, floor not vacuumed, and no replacement toilet tissue. Consistentcy is important! I would expect that at a Hilton property. Overall, any place can have an off day.

It’s always an amazing stay at Hotel Higgins! We opted for the room with a balcony this time and highly recommend it. The bathroom and size of the suite was amazing! Only thing that could have been better was the patio furniture was not very comfortable.
