Loved the location but was a bit surprised when we checked in at the office, we actually needed to walk a few blocks to the location where we actually stayed. The rooms were spacious along with the bathrooms. Our mattress was a bit on the hard side. A soft mattress pad would go a long ways. The staff was very accomodating.

Worst experience of my life.

This was absolutely a nightmare. We checked in at 8pm. I called 1 hour prior to say what time we would arrive. When we got there Noone was there. We waiting 1.5 hours until she arrived and didn’t speak a work of English. We never got the room we booked. She didn’t apologize. When we got in the room smelled lik feces. The daughters boyfriend tried to help us saying I’ll open the window and the smell should go away. But when he opened the window it wasn’t even to outside it was a utility room that ran all night. When I went to take a shower the glass shower door fell on me. This was the worst experience in my life staying at a hotel. We were travelling around Europe for a month. To all reading this. Beware. Would not ever recommend anyone to stay here. Oh and to top this off none of the outlets worked.

Es war wunderbar. Die Unterkunft ist in einem mittelalterlichen Palazzo nur 5 Gehminuten vom Dom entfernt in einer ruhigen kleinen Strasse, ideal, ganz liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefúhlt.

Great location. Comfortable. Classic.

Comfortable. Great location for the train station and 5 mins from the Duomo. Very happy with our stay. Helpful staff - we spent very little time there as you would expect, but they provided what we needed. Clean, reasonable cost for Florence prices and walking distance from everywhere. We would stay here again.

Très bien. Bel accueil. Chambre typiquement de style florentin. Propre et spacieux. Pas de bruit. Très près de tout (centre historique), gare, tram pour aéroport. Bon rapport qualité pris. Je recommande pour un séjour de quelques jours à Florence. Personnel très agréable, compréhensif et flexible.

A real gem!

Location is perfect: just a couple of minutes walk to the train station and T1 and T2 tram lines, on a street packed with cafes and restaurants. Great hosts, nice rooms and beautiful building, too.

It was a beautiful little quaint hotel on a lovely Florence avenue bustling with tourists and lovely shops and restaurants. The young lady that greeted us was so accommodating and kind and even kept our luggage while we went to Rome for the weekend even though we weren't coming back to that hotel to stay. Great rates and a memorable experience.

Recomendo!

A recepção neste B&B foi bastante ágil, cordial e a Dona Anna foi muito simpática em todos os momentos. O quarto ficava à uns 50 m do local do check in, sendo na mesma rua, outro prédio. Quarteirão bem em frente ao mercado de San Angelo (2min a pé). 5 minutos do Duomo... localização excelente, segura, perto de tudo e com muitas trattorias, gelaterias e mercados ao lado. O único lugar q precisamos usar táxi foi o Jd de boboli e piazza di Michelângelo, pois era mais afastado e o cansaço dos dias anteriores desanimou a caminhada. Café da manhã simples, mas suficiente Pro desjejum. Quarto confortável com tudo que era necessário... roupas de cama boa. Só sentimos incômodo com a luz do banheiro que tem tempo de ficar acessa... com isso, se gastássemos algum tempo no banheiro antes de ligar o chuveiro, no meio do banho a Luz apagava e a gente ficava no breu. Achei desnecessário e inconveniente essa medida. No mais, perfeito! Ficamos 5 dias neste B&B. Limpavam todos os dias. Ah, outra coisa: tem escadas pra subir com as malas.

Great location in Florence

Literally within walking distance of the train station, it makes it easy if you are arriving at the Firenze (Florence) train depot. Easy access to all major destinations within Florence as well. Helpful and friendly staff! Good breakfast in the morning with fruit, muffin/coffee-cake, deli meats and juices. Only concern was room size (small) and beds (very hard). A/C worked well, however, as it was hot in Florence during our trip. It's location made it easy to stop by room midday and rest/recharge w/ A/C.

Great central location

Great central location, a few minutes walk from the cathedral and duomo. Also a few minutes from the main train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella). All Florence main sights within 20 minute walk including lots of restaurants. We booked a room with a private bathroom and it was spacious, clean, had air conditioning and a very comfortable bed.

Not-so-private bathroom

Nothing against Katti House, just Hotels.com. We had requested a private bathroom but had to walk through the dining room to get to it. The room was very small with no place to unpack.

Excellent!!!

This is an amazing hotel. Love the owners, they go out of their way to see to it that your stay is great! The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything and restaurants next to the hotel. 5 minutes to the train station. Highly recommend. I will stay there again when I visit Florence.

It is amazingly great location and service with great breakfast. It seems a family owned hotel and they are really kind and provide the best service. Room itself seems a bit outdated but no complaint comparing to the price and service. I will definitely recommend this place.

Nice little room

We stayed at Katty House II - Nice and clean room. The building is not too sound proof so if you sleep light, probably not the best place. Nice bathroom in the room (important) although the hairdryer kept shutting off. Easy walking to many parts of the city an Florence attractions. Lively part of the city. Wifi was great and breakfast was nice, nothing fancy but enough to get you some energy for site-seeing.

Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Katti House. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The owner Maria and Christina we very welcoming. The breakfast offered a lot of choices.
