Wonderful stay

Excellent central location,walked to everything. Daniella and her staff are warm and welcoming. We truly felt like guests in her home, very helpful with restaurant reservations, spacious room and lovely breakfast. Know there are some stairs in the palazzo to negotiate to get to room, if you have mobility issues. Overall such a unique and wonderful place.

The Hotel Tolomei was an unforgettable experience. It really was a Palace! When we arrived Danielli (the owner) welcomed us as if we were Family. The rooms were magnificent but welcoming. The frescos on the ceilings were original, the furnishings an eclectic blend and very comfortable. During our stay the whole staff treated us very warmly and were always happy to help us in every aspect of our stay in Florence. I would encourage anyone to go to Florence - even if it just to stay in this magical Palace.

Stay in your own palace!

If you’re going to an ancient, romantic city like Florence, this is just the place to stay to keep the vibe. I can’t begin to describe the gloriously palatial decor—gilded mirrors, crystal chandeliers, ceilings covered with hand-painted frescoes, a grand book room and a music room with velvet couches and classical CDs. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with modern amenities like cappuccino maker, hot water pot, mini fridge and cool modern shower. We could open our window and see the Duomo! Wonderful, responsive snd helpful staff and great location close to everything. One of our must-haves was free breakfast. They give you daily meal vouchers for the most charming restaurant I’ve ever seen half a block up the road with great, filling options. If you like new and modern, don’t stay here. Also, if you have mobility issues, you should know the elevator only goes to the main (lobby) level and suitcases will need to be carried up some steep stairs. Our stone floor was a little rustic too, but it added to the charm. The other slight negative was that there is a bar or two on the street below which can get a little noisy for a few hours at night. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous hotel!

My stay was good. The location is fantastic and the owner and receptionist were very helpful and kind! Place could use more lightings inside and outside the rooms. I think the price was high for this place. Overall, it was fine and had no issues.

N'hésite pas !

Notre séjour a été parfait ! La localisation du Palazzo est idéale pour visiter à pied la belle ville de Florence. L'accueil a été chaleureux par tous les membres que nous avons vu. Nous avons rencontré un soucis lors de la première nuit avec des voisins horriblement bruyants jusqu'à 1h30 du matin (l'insonorisation des chambres voisines est plutôt mauvaises). Nous l'avons signalé à la réception et en 2h ils nous avaient apporté une réponse idéale par WhatsApp Le petit déjeuner se prend dans un restaurant à quelques mètres du Palazzo.

Tilat oikein hyvät, mutta pientä ongelmaa lämpimän veden kanssa. Tilaa oli paljon ja monia erilaisia mm. musiikkihuone ja kirjasto Vanhoja Maalauksia oli seinissä ja katoissa. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Aamupala on läheisessä kahvilassa, mutta ei mitenkään erikoinen (kahvi, mehu, jugurtti, croisantti ja munakas tai avocardotoast). Sijainti on mitä parhain kaikki tärkeät nähtävyydet kävelymatkan päässä.

Parfait.

Superbe endroit, digne de l’histoire de Florence et des traditions de l’hospitalité a l’italienne. La suite « luxe » est superbe (inadaptée ceci dit aux personnes à mobilité réduite en raison d’un escalier) et le petit déjeuner plus que mémorable. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville. Merci encore à Daniella et Ricardo pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils.

I barely have words to tell you what a wonderful place this is. Daniella, the owner, made us feel so at home and cooked us the most amazing breakfast every morning. Ricardo shared his knowledge of the area and what restaurants to go to. Perfect location… just blocks from the duomo and the museum with the statue of David. Walking distance to train station.

Sehr positiv war der Service und Das sicher ausgiebige individuelle Frühstück. Man fühlt sich zu jederzeit sehr wohl. Das Zimmer und die Qualität insbesondere Elektro und Bad waren sicherlich durchschnittlich oder schlechter. Hier bedarf es sicherlich mal eine Renovierung. Es ist halt ein altes Haus und dort ist es nicht immer ganz einfach Sanierungen sehr gut durchzuführen. Im großen Ganzen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Preisleistung erscheint etwas hoch.
