Check-in: 3/5 - mediocre, specified twin beds and noted in special request but given a double bed. Front desk staff rectified this upon us showing the booking confirmation. Check out: 4/5 - checked bill was charged for another room’s item, front desk took it off bill. Would check bill before paying. Dining experience: 1/5 - Disappointing. Evening/night staff were unpleasant, not welcoming and dismissive. - Gentleman that took our order was very dismissive, didn’t wait for us to finish our order and walked off. - Long wait for food to arrive. - Our second dinning experience, order was incorrect bc again the same gentlemen waiter did not wait for us to finish ordering. Room & service: 2/5 - Large room - For the entire stay we had no cleaning service. - The fridge was not replenished with drinks or water. - No drinking glasses in room. - Washroom toilet seat was smaller than the toilet base. - Washroom had mold and smelt like sewer. We had to request airfreshener as the smell was unbearable. Location - 2/5 - not convenient to other restaurants or town, car required. - taxi service is minimal and expensive. Pro: Villa does have infinity pool and the scenery is nice.

Das gute Abendessen war der einzige Lichtblick

vor 16 Jahren waren wir begeistert vom Personal von dieser tollen alten Villa. Leider ist nur noch "alt" geblieben. Wir fühlten uns nicht Willkommen. Nicht einmal ein Bongiorno, oder einen Blickkontakt waren wir dem Personal wert. Keine Dienstleistung freiwillig. Das Zimmer hätte eine dringende Renovation nötig.

Bäder schimmelig - siehe Fotos, Lüftung zu laut zum schlafen und kann nicht abgestellt werden, Ohne Warnung dann eine Hochzeitsfeier des Hotels direkt bei unserem Zimmer , Beschwerden der Gäste werden ignoriert, kein Manager vor Ort, kein Schlaf möglich, Polizeieinsatz erforderlich - ich will mein Geld komplett zurück.

Solid Hotel, Needs Improvement in Service

The breakfast could be better, but otherwise nice stay. Restaurant is actually really good, but somehow the breakfast was not good at all. Some of the staff had attitude, but we were able to manage. Love the views, the pool, and walks around the hotel.

The heart of Tuscany

This hotel is in the middle of paradise. It was a little hard to get too as the associated town is quite small. Especially since the hotel would not answer the phone. Very nice pool and property. Wifi was reliable.

Old hotel in a lovely location. Staff were ok (polite but not what I'd expect for a 4/5 star). Nothing to complain about per se but expected more. Spa is nice but lack of language made for problems with massage (our fault in assumption but we ended up with only 45 minutes for a paid hour massage. Food good rather than great, AC functional - just. BUT enjoyed the stay.

O local é ótimo , escolhi um quarto standard , bem pequeno porém arrumadinho . Mas o café deixa a desejar para um resort e não tinha shampoo nem sabonete para banho no quarto . Tive que pedir. Não sei se não era para ter ou esqueceram . As piscinas são ótimas .

A few days in Tuscany

Amazing place to stay. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Rooms are on the smaller side but very comfortable. Wifi is not free as it says on some of the room information.

Gute Basis für Florenz Besuch und Chianti Gebiet

Ohne GPS schwer zu finden, die Beschreibung auf der Homepage ist völlig ungenügend. Die Lage und der Ausblick entsprechen den Erwartungen. Der Lift mit einmaligen drei Türen ist ein Erlebnis für sich, es kracht und knarrt sodass man immer froh ist ausgestiegen zu sein. Ein Doppelzimmer mit einem einzigen Stuhl ist seltsam, Bett und Bad ausgezeichnet. Das Restaurant ist abends empfehlenswert, wenn auch einmal das Schweinsfilet zäh war. Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend wenn auch nur 3-Stern Standard. Gewöhnungsbedürftig waren z.B. die kleine Plastik Teelöffel, für ein 4 Stern Hotel nicht zumutbar.Die Rezeption ist überwiegend freundlich besetzt, die im Zimmer befindliche Hotel Information bietet die stundenweise Miete eines Internet Zugangs samt Laptop an, welcher allerdings nicht funtkionstüchtig war. Gratis Wireless war im Zimmer nicht und manchmal nur schwach zu empfangen sodass die Lobby aufgesucht werden musste. Obwohl das Hotel Spa anscheinend einen guten Ruf geniesst, ist nicht ein einziges Exercise Gerät vorhanden.

Il personale alla reception al mio arrivo non è stato molto cortese, disguisendo circa il fatto di avere o meno la colazione inclusa. La mia prenotazione l'avevo fatta da un portale internet prevedendo la colazione (perchè per me è essenziale). Inoltre ritengo che un albergo della vostra categoria non possa prescindere dall'includere nel prezzo della stanza la colazione. La sera a cena mi è stato confermato che invece la colazione era inclusa nella mia prenotazione, forse perchè avevo prentato la cena?o chissà?
