"This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. "

Cons: We paid for a "mountain view" room but did not have a view of anything. Wifi is basically nonexistent and there is barely any cell reception. No interet is a big problem and should be corrected."

"Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great! Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!"

"Ich finde vier Steme Hotel und Luxury Villa als übertrieben. Grundsätzlich ist dies ein sehr schönes und gut gelegendes Hotel. Jedoch sind die Informationen auf der Webseite veraltet. Es gibt kein Morning Walk mehr. Einer der Pools war defekt und der andere hatte teilweise scharfe Kanten aufgrund nicht vorhandener Kacheln. "The whole experience was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating the room was beautiful and spacious the grounds were beautiful and the food was excellent! Bonus was the howler monkeys off my balcony and a sloth on the grounds"

"Incredible property. Exactly as pictured. If you’ve ever been on a 5 star African safari this is the Costa Rican equivalent. Only disappointment was our room didn’t have a volcano view as pictured but the room was incredible nonetheless and the main dining and pool area had a great view of the volcano. "
