"This Hotel was booked as a single night stop over on our way from Chamonix to Caen. After a 650km drive it was a really welcome sight. Although next to a commercial area / retail park, the hotel is enclosed by trees, feels private and has plenty of parking. The hotel is bright and airy and very comfortable. We opted for the Executive double room when we booked a few days in advance of our stay so we had a sofa and somewhere to sit. On reflection the standard double rooms are probably just as comfortable based on what we could see in the website. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. The evening meals were very tasty too and reasonably priced. The bar had a good selection of drinks and the swimming pool is a great amenity too. We would definitely stay at a Westotel again."

The property features a lovely, peaceful inner courtyard where you can relax or enjoy a meal. The location is extremely convenient for exploring the Loire Valley, situated perfectly right between the eastern and western parts of the region. Overall, excellent value for money. Our room had its own private hot tub and sauna, making the combination of historic charm and modern comfort absolutely perfect. The château dates back to the 1500s, and staying here gave us the feeling of literally living in another era. From the beautifully maintained grounds to the incredible historic setting, every detail made the experience special. We also really appreciated how environmentally conscious the property is. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay. We loved the honor system, which gave the property such a warm, relaxed, and personal feel. Another favorite was the upper-level area where we could sit, relax, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area. This was so much more than just a place to stay—it was an experience that felt like going back in time, while still enjoying wonderful modern amenities. "This is the loveliest small beautiful hotel run by a delightful hotelier. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is a good size and open at sensible times. The village itself is sweet with a lovely little beautiful shop, small market, boulangwris and other shops. There is one very nice restaurant for dinner but for other options you need to go further afield. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for any visit to the Loire."
