This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "Room was fairly new and clean. A little too hot during the night but the window did open slightly. Just to note the room is part the church which we didn’t realise until we got there. Right next door the bells were ringing every 15 minutes on the evening, then started again at 8am and lasted longer in the morning to call for service (it was Sunday). I enjoyed them but just to note in case you were wanting a lie-in. There is no option for breakfast although the listing did state it would be...

"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other. "The room was good in size and decor , garden room suite. We were on the ground floor the room above us you could hear everything even the person snoring , the floor must have been floorboards and we could hear everything, This woke us up and continued throughout the morning!"

"A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away."

"The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. Our main reason for staying here was to visit...
