"Hotel dei Pini has an unbeatable location — private beach, gorgeous sea views, and just a 15-minute drive to the beautiful town of Alghero. The breakfast was lovely and the staff warm and welcoming, which goes a long way.
That said, for the price of a sea view triple room, the experience didn't quite match the 4-star billing. The rooms are comfortable enough but feel more like a solid 3-star — beds are decent without being particularly restful, and there are no in-room amenities you'd typically...

"The hotel itself is decent, and our room was clean. However, several important details were not disclosed before booking, which left us disappointed.
The main reason we chose this hotel over an Airbnb or a property in the city was because it is marketed as a beachfront resort with its own private beach. "Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Ebenfalls das Essen. Es gibt sehr viele Annehmlichkeiten! Alles war sauber - die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit. Die Kellner waren etwas unhöflich - es herrschte ein bisschen eine zwei Klassengesellschaft."

"First of all, the hotel is not beach front…. It is beach access from a side street. You are given a free pass for only one day for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. After that, the daily cost is 25 euro. Staff were very kind and willing to assist in any way. The breakfast was very good but did not change day to day. It was pretty much the same every day. "We had an awesome time here. The staff were some of the nicest people we have met (Hi Claudia and team) and the facilities were exceptional. From start to finish the stay was amazing, and even when we blew out a tyre on the last day on our way out, the staff were the first to help out with local help across language barriers. Worth every penny and would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks from your friends in Australia"
