"Our stay at Veranda Hotel Grand Baie was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Our apartment was located at the very back of the property, quite a long walk from the main facilities. There was also no lift, which wasn't mentioned when we made the booking. Carrying luggage up the stairs and walking such a distance was very inconvenient, especially after travelling. "Amazing hotel and rooms are great value for money in terms of size. However I think if guests are wanting more from food they perhaps need to be aware it’s quality over quantity in this hotel. Also please note other bigger hotels have more free kayaks and boats this has 1 so it gets booked quickly Other hotels have at least 20 boats for use"

"There is only 1 resturant and a buffet not 2 as advertised. We were there for 2 nights to end our honeymoon from a cruise. We were unable to get in either nights to the restaurant despite there only being 4 people dinning a one point. We raised that it was our honeymoon and we hadn’t been able to experience the resturant were told well there is a cruise in. Some staff were very lovely others rude when serving drinks.
