This is the most incredible hitel i have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything is first class, food, rooms, staff, surroundings, entertainment, drinks, watersports -free. Sunsets are the best. Literally, i would go back in a heartbeat. There is not one thing i would change. Book a sea facing room between room 400 -430. Perfect ground floor rooms, with a terrace and a perfect location and view of the sunset. Book it!

Beautiful hotel, just not my preference for solo

The hotel and grounds are beautiful, with a great spot on the coast line to wake up to every day. There are lots of facilities and things to do as well as gorgeous private beaches on which to relax. The hotel has been designed as an all inclusive hotel - not my personal preference - and as such meal options/ room service etc and beach service are all limited.

Severe food poisoning at Beachcomber

Beware of the sea food at this Beachcomber Resort. We arrived on Friday and went to dinner around the end of service - 8:50 pm. I woke up around 1 a.m. with food poisoning symptoms. The hotel was quick to get a doctor to the room. Upon evaluation, the doctor immediately called an ambulance and rushed me to the hospital at 2 a.m. with lights on. I’m a healthy 30-something but BP was already 144/89 due to the food poisoning. The medical care I received at the hospital was first class. My only disappointment lies in the management at the Beachcomber. I was passed around between managers until the communications director informed me there was nothing to be done because it would indicate liability. My only ask was to cover the $600 hospital bill for the food poisoning. He threatened to respond to a negative review - which I invite. Nevertheless - I would recommend Mauritius to anyone seeking a paradise. The Mauritian people are as genuinely kind and welcoming as their reputation suggests. Go - but I would stay away from this resort. I

Incroyable

Comme le dit le titre, incroyable séjour dans cet hôtel au nord ouest de l’île où la météo y est meilleure qu’ailleurs. Nous avons été très bien reçu par l’ensemble du personnel qui est adorable, toujours au petit soin. La nourriture y est excellente et la multitude d’activités comprises est un vrai plus. Magnifique séjour. C'est mieux qu'un hôtel ! le personnel fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable et réussit parfaitement. Tous les membres du personnel sont à féliciter. Un petit bémol : les kayaks sont très inconfortables et indignes d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Il serait urgent et nécessaire de les remplacer par du bon matériel. Il faut rappeler à la direction que RTM est la marque de référence en la matière !
