"This property was the favorite lodging of the trip. Amazingly, it was not full. It is within 100 yards of Hawi’s main attraction, Kohala Zipline. The main building forms a square around a lawn-dominated garden: A vintage roadside motel combined with a cloister. Good dining choices are within a short walking or a slightly longer driving distance. Nearby sights/sites of interest include Pololu Beach and two churches in a New England style, both of which look great in the tropical setting."

"Wonderful hotel. Beautiful, well maintained. Nice beach. Loved art, sculptures and vases all around the property. Convenient location. Highly recommend."

"Loved the large pool..multiple slides for the kids and plenty of seating. Beautiful grounds and nice condo style rooms. Close to restaurants and shops.. a great stay!"

"Everything is excellent!"

"I loved the upgrades that they had made to the room. What I didn’t like was. A lot of the light switches in the room didn’t work. My family and I have stayed on this property before and always enjoyed our stays. When we tried to ask for a late check out time, it was quite ridiculous. Check out was at 10:00 which used to be at noon and the late check out was at 11:30. My family was disappointed especially my grandkids. Like I said, we always enjoyed out stay at that property but, I don’t...

"The building itself is very old and unattractive. Although the property looks very spacious in the photos, the actual interior is disappointingly small and unimpressive. The female receptionist seemed to be very familiar with the local residents and appeared to give them rooms as she pleased. I also felt that she showed a strong sense of hostility toward people from outside the area, which made me feel very uncomfortable during my stay."

"Pretty good"

"The entire space was great. Easy to walk to near by shops and very relaxing"

"Slept, had breakfast and left didn’t use amenities."
