"Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper."

"We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. We spoke mainly with Sonia, who helped us with checking in and was very responsive any time we had a question about recommendations in the area. "Das Hotel Monte Carlo hat eine tolle Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es geht zwar zu Fuß steil hinauf, ist aber gut machbar. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und etwas "abgeranzt". Aus der Dusche kam nur wenig Wasser, Fliesen und Fugen sind marode - trotzdem würden wir es wieder buchen. Das Frühstück (in Buffet-Form) hatten wir je nach Bedarf morgens spontan eingenommen, ohne es vorab gebucht zu haben. Der Bereich um den Pool könnte mal wieder...

"Enkelt hotell med mycket bra läge i Funchal. Plus för att det fanns balkong och ingick frukost. Minsks för att duchmunstucket i duschen var katastrof, samt kuddarna i sängen var alldeles för tunna. Är man känslig för hårda sängar ska man inte välja det här hotellet, men för mig gjorde det inget. "
