"Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is brillantly located in a quiet street just off the high street in St Peter Port. so it close to all the ammenities you need such as ferry port, shops and restaurants. The only issue, we had was that the first room they put us in was on the ground floor room. The bathroom of this room is adjacent to the street, therefore my wife did not feel safe using the bathroom. We talked to the staff and in fairness they moved us to a room on the top floor which was more...

"A lovely hotel with an interesting history. Tastefully decorated with fantastic food at a reasonable price. Garden is glorious and unique. Staff very attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them."

"Great location. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Very clean, well equiped rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff."

"The hotel was very welcoming and the staff and management very helpful. The position is wonderful and although the carpets are a little tired , overall it was a lovely stay. We would certainly come again."

"Excellent meals service very good and friendly staff"

"We really were impressed by the entire business. Staff , food , gardens , and our comfortable bedroom. The air con especially came in handy. We couldn’t fault the entire experience and would highly recommend it to anyone . Thanks all"

"The room has lovely sea views but the carpet is heavily stained and the decor generally quite tired. The room was also incredibly hot despite being offered a fan by the helpful staff. It is a great hindrance that the windows cannot be opened more than a few inches. For a hotel of this reputation and in this price range, air conditioning should be incorporated throughout. "Lovely clean room, staff very helpful, had a meal on first night was good quality bar area quite dark but restaurant was busy. Would stay again if visiting the island"

"We enjoyed our stay at The Imperial Hotel. The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the sea, The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The food was excellent with very large portions, a little too big for us. There is also a nice little bar for afternoon and evening drinks. The hotel could do with some updating and although I'd say it was generally clean, I don't think a vacuum had been used in our room the whole week."

"Hotel was in a beautiful position for views. The hill is steep but worth the effort. Food very good and staff very helpful. I would stay here again"

"Lovely quiet room, a little small but fine if you’re travelling light. 20 minute pleasant walk from downtown and easy access to hikes on cliff path. Breakfast was good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would choose this hotel again."

"Great place to stay.! Why don’t you try it?"
