"Check in starts at 4 - waited an hour in line til 5, room wasnt even ready til after 5:30. After traveling all that time, all we wanted to do was get in there and unwind. Hallways everywhere are filthy like they must vacuum once a month or something? Room was fortunately clean but everywhere else not so much. Also the elevator by our area was out of service making it a really long walk and according to staff its been a while like that! Didnt even bother going to the water park and the one time we went to the arcade it was also closed early!"

"Stayed at the Mondrian South Beach recently. When we first got there, we had to switch rooms because the couch had stains and the room had some damage. The second room honestly wasn’t much better. Other than that, the hotel itself is really nice. The property was clean, and the staff was super accommodating and easy to deal with, which I appreciated. It seems like the units are individually owned, so I guess the condition depends on who owns it and how well they keep it up. Overall, decent stay, just wish the room quality matched how nice the rest of the place is."

"Personally I did not like the fact that everything was open to see which made the room look cluttered. Did not like the bath and shower set up, when you took a shower and then moved the door over to the toilet side it dripped water from the shower on the floor. The refridgerator did not have a freezer section so we could not freeze the "cooler pouch" we had brought to carry with us during the day. The worst of all was the curtain which butted into the mirror, you could be in the room and see who was behind the curtain changing clothes, no privacy, terrible design. (The curtain also covered the outlet.) Mirror over sink did not furnish a good reflection for putting on makeup. Shower had no shelf, etc to put shampoo, condition or shower gel. The only place to work would be right at the TV with the narrow shelf. The lights over the bed are on one side and the switch to turn them off/on is on the other side of the bed. There is no clock in the room, never seen a room without a clock. We do perfer to start the morning with a cup of coffee in the room, not dressing and going down to get a cup but that is just a personal preference. The breakfast was really good and well tended by staff. "

"The property is very clean with modern decor. Excellent room. I had taken ocean facing room, but ocean was barely visible due to obstructios by local fitness festval tents and stadium. The extra money paid for the ocean view was wasted. The swimming pool was the best. They maintain luke warm water, great for relaxation. "
