"I never write reviews, but I rely on reviews for everywhere I stay as a frequent traveler. If that resonates with you or if that’s the kind of person you are—read on, this is for you. I recently stayed at the Avalon Hotel from July 21-24. My experience was truly exceptional. The hotel exudes good vibes from the moment you walk in, assuming you finally find the parking lot. The décor is charming, with no detail left unthought of—even the typical hotel signage adds to the overall aesthetic. Everything was spotless, reflecting their attention to cleanliness, & the staff were consistently friendly & welcoming. One of the highlights of my stay was visiting the hotel next door, which is under the same owner. I went there a few times for dinner & drinks—it felt like stepping into a top-tier restaurant & bar. The staff were highly professional, & every drink I had was excellent. The bartenders have a real talent for intuitively crafting drinks that suit your taste, often presenting something new & exciting each time. Gaining the amenities at the more expensive location nextdoor is a huge bonus perk. It’s a 5-star resort level stay at a fraction of the cost. The Avalon Hotel itself felt like coming home after a day out. This experience was easily on par with a true five-star hotel, & the staff, both at the Avalon & the neighboring property, were the ones who made the difference. I will absolutely be returning & highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a standout stay."
