"As a couple with no kids, we wanted somewhere comfortable to stay, with great gym and facilities that wasn't too loud and still easy to get around. This hotel ticked all those boxes. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was worth booking as the immediate surrounding area wasn't as busy as the main tourist district. "Good stadard hotel, clean and comfortable. Not quite yet a luxury hotel but everything is good. Location is great, just a few minute walk to the old town and beach front. Nice breakfast with generous varieties. Services is above average :)"

"Late check in went very smoothly. Amazing breakfast buffet, comfy beds no fitted sheets so the sheet went everything during the night. Also, screen in shower is too small and resulted into flooding half the bathroom. Lovely location on the water and quiet area, far from the bustle of old town Dubrovnik."

"This was my 5th time in Hvar and I had always taken airbnbs, so was a little bit cautious about taking a hotel, and after reading the reviews I was a bit suspicious. However! Once we got there we could see how great this hotel was!! The rooms are small but everything else was fantastic. They could use an actual gym and a better situation for ironing clothes. I would highly recommend staying at this location and would probably stay again."

"You will get the best view of Dubrovnik old town from almost everywhere in excelsior hotel. Breakfast is very good both in variety and quality. Rooms are in good standard, very clean and comfortable. Service are excellent. A bit pricey but if you don’t mind spending more for nice view and service, this hotel is a very good choice. Walkable distance to and from the old town (~10min)"
