"I was only staying a night before getting on the road again in the morning. We were only on property 12 hours but the staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and smelled clean. The room was mostly clean. The white bed spreads were dirty/stained with something brown probably coffee maybe? The bathroom shower had hair all over the shampoo and conditioner bottles attached to the wall and then strung down the wall from them. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I Stayed at Motel 6 Rawlins for a night and had a really good experince. The room was clean, parking was easy and the location is perfect right off I-80. Big thanks to Ven at the front desk. He was super friendly, helped us with our luggage and made check-in very easy. Also, the coffee at the front desk was surprizingly one of the best coffees we had on our trip. Simple place, good people and great service. Would definetly stay here again."

"Just a one night stay. Nice staff, arrived late with no problem. Good breakfast, but it ends at 9:30. No pancakes? Room was good, but shower did not seem like it was cleaned. We almost always like Holiday Inn Express. This one was comfortable, and met most of the standards that keep us coming back."

We stayed in the Owen Suite, which was filled with beautiful historical pieces. Across from the hotel is a small, but a very interesting museum very much worth visiting (and you can buy there a novel, which hotel is named for, The Virginian by Owen Wister). "The hotel and room was very dated and in need of comprehensive rennovation: carpets were worn, halls had a stale odor, external doors to stairs were not locked (security concern), staff was not adequately trained in check-in process. The room was reasonably clean and functional, but the bath tub did not have any traction surface and was a slipping hazard. Breakfast area was adequate but had minimal food selections and seating area. If I ever stay in Rawlins again, this hotel would not be...
