The bed was comfortable, even though I prefer it firmer and it was quiet. The outside of the property is a bit run down and the inside lobby drab, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is inadequate, drech coffee and no fresh fruit or things like that. For the money though, it is better than most places in that star range.

There was no one at the front desk when we got there despite us being the only other car there. We had to leave and come back. The girl was nice and very helpful when we came back and she was there. The bathroom wasn't clean when we arrived. It wasn't gross thanfully, but definitely not cleaned. The breakfast was terrible. We went down at 7am and there was almost nothing to eat and there was maybe only 5-10 other cars there so it wasn't like the hotel was packed with people. We ended up going to McDonald's across the street. That McDonald's has an amazing playground for littles to run around. If I stayed in Rawlins again I would probably try a different place.

I have to say that the motel itself was very good. It looks like the owner had gone to the hilton and made a note of everything they wanted to copy in a room. But. There was supposed to be a breakfast. There was no visible breakfast. There was coffee but it was awful. There was no coffee pot in the room. But the motel was interesting, very old and strangely shaped. There were corridors that went nowhere. Rooms with no clear purpose. Kind of like the shining , but without the creepy twins.

Property in desperate need of a refresh. The tub was repaired around faucet with dark cementing, not regular grout. Carpet in the hallways looks to have not been cleaned for a long time. Dirt, debris, crumbs all along the base boards of the hallway. The door to the pet area was left unlocked, no signage advising to close & lock the door. This was late at night. This can be a security breech. Coffee in breakfast area was only lukewarm & way over strong making the sip I had bitter & foul tasting. Bagel was dry & seemed to have been left out for a day. All juices were in refilled containers, so cleanliness of same could not be ascertained. Is this even legal in Rawlins/Wyoming by food handling rules & laws? The beds were comfortable, pillows lackluster. They are torn up foam & stiff. There was a 8-10 inch long black hair on the bathroom floor. I have completely silver white hair, partner is balding, salt n pepper, inch long- - definitely not ours. I would not stay here again, area felt somewhat seedy.

Room was ok, but a few ants walking the floors. Did not stay for breakfast as last time we stayed here, the staff was very late getting the food out and we had to leave. This property is being renovated, and has a few items left to finish. For the price--it was a good place to stay for the night. Quiet and other amenities close by. Other hotels in the area charging over $100-$140 per night--why? Rawlins is not a going concern. Just a place to stop and rest on a long journey to elsewhere.

I have stayed at this Days Inn before about 2 years ago. The room I stayed in this time (March 1, 2026) appeared to have been recently updated. The room was very clean with all lamps and bathroom fixtures working properly. This is an older property, and I keep my expectations reasonable. Breakfast is “grab and go” and coffee is decent quality. Staff is friendly and professional. This motel gives you good value for the money.

Nice spacious clean room. Good comfortable bed. Shower was a little dirty but not bad. Breakfast was sticky buns and hot water. They used to have a better breakfast but it is not good now. I would still stay here- a good bargain and clean.
