"Checked in late night, Air-conditioner was not working took an hour to make it running, during check in I informed door knob was broken. They came and looked at but didn't fix or give us different room. During using the washroom, I noticed that there was a water leak from the tube. Called receptionist and complained. A plumber came middle of the night tried more than an hour. They didn't offer another room. I tried to sleep last part of the night but couldn't due to smelly blanket and pillow....

"AC did not work. Finally was changed to another room. AC did not work in that room either. At restaurant, BIG cockroach running down glass near table and across floor. The room was fairly basic. Its along the main road in Dhaka, and the small window in the bathroom allowed plenty of noise to come in overnight. The hotel's phone number provided by expedia did not work, it took some work to find their phone number. The room has wifi, it's clean. Standard western...

"The staff were ever so welcoming and friendly. I stayed here twice, first at the start of my holiday and then at the end. The rooms are of a good standard, comparable to a good western hotel. Breakfast was also very nice with plenty of variety. The hotel is currently being refurbished throughout and the hotel is taking its time to make sure they have every detail right. Even so, you would not notice any of this work going on. By the summer it should have been completed and will include a swimming pool. When I come back to Bangladesh I will be sure to stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone coming here. "
