"Truly a great place to spend a layover made even better by previously staying"

"Like many South Korean 4-star hotels this feels closer to a 5 star experience. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. There's a good view of the National Assembly Building from the street and from the rooftop. But note the rooftop isn't easily accessible for anybody with mobility issues. It's located in a part of Yeouido that is quiet, but still with many cafes and restaurants available; very good coffee available at Small Batch just nextdoor and GOTT Only Place a litte further down the road (turn right as you walk out of the hotel for these). Yeouido Park is also a short walk. Gym has free weights and a smith machine, which is a rare find in hotels, but the gym and equipment is quite dated and in need of a refresh. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. This is a good place to stay in Seoul if you want to be somewhere quiet and relaxed and take public transport or taxis to the busier locations. Airport Bus 6007 from Incheon will drop you directly across the road, about a 1 hour trip. "

"Frequent airport shuttle"

"There were no wash clothes in the bathroom. The bed linens were lacking. The rooms were cold to me, there were no thermostats in the rooms and the desk staff had no way of adjusting the temperature either. The room smelled musty and stale. Hotel Staff were all very courteous and as helpful as they could be. Overall, not the worst ever by far but thought it would be better than it was."

"I want to first start out by saying that the staff were very kind. I usually avoid writting negative reviews as it could just be a "me" preference but I really need to write this one. We got in a bit later so we quickly dropped off our bags and went for dinner. Oddly enough, the bathroom door was shut when we got it but thought nothing of it. Once we were back at the hotel, we then realized that the bathroom had an extremely strong smell of sewer. Strong enough that when I tried to use it, I was dry heaving and no, I am not being dramatic. So I quickly sent a message to the hotel at around 8 pm. We didn't get a call until 10 pm saying we could switch rooms. As we were flying out the next morning, I really wasn't wanting to pack up at 10 pm and move rooms. They did offer to private shuttle us to the airport as compensation. Which we appreciated. Paying over $350 CAD for a room that had a few issues really made me realize that I need to not just see 10/10 reviews and think it'll be great.... did I think they could have done more, sure. What would have been great is a quick response or more quality control checks in their rooms."

"Oh my goodness! What an incredible hotel! My room on the top (11th) floor was what i had before...such an amazing layout and view! Amenities are terriffic. Onsite restaurant is pricey, but oh so fantastic! Staff are all fluent in English and very friendly. Great mini-mart inside as well. Easy free shuttle to catch nearly hourly. Will ALWAYS stay here when i come through Incheon. "
