To cap it all when we left we were told that we had to pay an extra £55.00 as the price we were quoted was less than what it should have been. Won't be stopping here again."

A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. The lady at reception was also lovely and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. "Quite area with easy access to areas that we wanted to visit. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Food was good but service can be slow. Would stay again."

"Simple overnight stay to break up a long journey. The hotel was quiet and clean with very friendly, fussy free and helpful staff. Breakfast was good standard hotel offering. Room was hot and there's no AC but that's fair in a property of this age. There's no lift and so it was a struggle with a couple of heavy cases but it is just something people should be aware of and not put off by."

"It needs a crib sheet in each room telling of breakfast times, emergency tel no's etc. The room was very dark. Bathroom OK but would benefit from some shelves to put toiletries on etc. Breakfasts were very good with a wide choice. Dining in was v good but we felt overpriced. The whole experience was good but felt at £180 it represnted poor value."

"Not the cleanest Nothing to hang towels on 1 hand wash and 1 small tube of hair and body wash even though 2 of us were staying in the room. Extremely hot night but no fan provided I accidentally left my charger, contacted the property who said they did have it, took my home details and said they would send it.
