"The Fourviere Lyon was a total surprise for us. Upon arrival, we found a high quality hotel created from an abandoned convent built in mid 1800's. The structure is built in a square with an enclosed courtyard which offers a peaceful, walkable area for the patrons. Surrounding the hotel are ancient ruins of a Roman arena. Lots of history here! "

"It’s a nice modern style hotel in the good location. However the deluxe room had very few furnitures to put our belongings and the design of bathroom was not convenient to use."
"The bedroom is small but well appointed. I loved the form mattress and got a good night’s sleep. The ambiance is tranquil and the reception smelled great. Best of all was Kareem whose welcome and help made the stay so pleasant. When we found that our room was just beneath the rooftop bar and subject to late night noise, Kareem immediately changed our room with no fuss. We never made it to the rooftop bar and the many bad reviews it gets made it no big deal. I bet the hotel would get way better...

Seul bémol : l’ensemble des serviettes ont été changées alors qu’elles n’étaient pas dans le lavabo donc c’est très bien niveau confort mais dommage pour l’écologie (la pancarte disant que seules les serviettes dans le lavabo seraient changées n’a pas été respectée)"
