"The property is in good location in the Malecon and within a block from the beach. Lots of dining options nearby. Friendly staff. Our 2-bedroom unit is roomy and clean. The hotel was renovated in the last few years. However, they missed the opportunity to improve noise management in the building as the glass deck doors are paper thin. A double-pane windows would have helped reduce the street noise as the hotel is located in a busy street. Also, beach towels would be a nice addition to the rooms."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay here! Pros: Since it's on a 'dead' end street, it's a quiet retreat in a busy area. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The staff really take care of the property and the garden/pool area is beautiful. The shower always had hot water. It's in a great location! Cons: Even though I was told we could by others that have stayed there, we were told we could not use the pool/facilities at the sister resort, Los Arcos Hotel. We did get permission to use it...

"Location. Location. Location. So close to shopping and restaurants. Very safe walk. Lots of families walking out after dark. Beautiful resort - maybe not all the frills of some larger resorts - but super clean, friendly and lots of sun, sand and ocean. Pools are superb and dining at the seaside restaurant was outstanding. (Well worth the line up in the mornings to make reservations which you must do) we had an absolutely outstanding stay at Buenaventura !! "
