The hotel restaurant offers exceptional food — honestly some of the best I’ve had in Portugal — and the service is equally impressive. The spa services are also top‑class. "We only stayed for one night before leaving Lisbon. The hotel could use a bit of a refresh. Be aware, if you wish to open the window, the hotel is on the flight path and planes roll over every 3-5 minutes. Staff were friendly. "

"The room was nice, basic, clean. I would be nice if they had some kind of folder to explain how the lights work and the TV and the AC. No restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant was OK but didn't open until late. Not very centrally located. Had to take a taxi everywhere."

"Rooms were a little shabby but you cannot beat the convenience of location for a nights stay before an early flight. Advertised bus to airport has limited seating availability so we ended up having to taxi/Uber to the airport. Disappointing as the bus service was a contender for choosing this hotel. Room service food good even though what we received was not what we ordered but since it took a while to arrive we just ate it anyway!"

"We stayed at Novotel Lisbon in Portugal, about 20 minutes from the airport. For a one-night stay, it was fine and convenient for travel purposes. The arrival was confusing, with an empty, worn lobby and a note directing us to take the lift downstairs to check in. We were also disappointed with the breakfast service. We were told a “breakfast to go” would be arranged due to our early check-out, but nothing was prepared. After leaving, we realized we forgot an item and contacted the hotel, but...

"Excellent hotel, newly renovated, clean, close to Sete Rios bus station and metro, and wonderful breakfasts included. Couldn’t get much better."

"We really enjoyed our room, #4, the room and private bathroom in a separate building through the kitchen. The room is small, but we were able to open 2 large suitcases and 2 smaller carry on suitcases. There were a couple of small issues which were fixed the next day...very quickly looked after. Super location, just a few minutes walk from the train station and many bus routes. We found a great restaurant where they spoke English just down the street, Restaurante Churrasqueira O Franquinho,...

"Very nice hotel with everything you would want for your stay. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Lunch from the bar menu was delicious also. Great location. Train station is a 15 minute walk. Uber is abundant and reasonably priced also. Will stay again. "

"This was a magical stay in a beautiful historical building. Its not central, which we preferred, but very easy to get into the main areas and the airport. It was on a busy road, again not concerning. What was amazing were the staff and all their many small kindnesses, such as hand written notes, helpful suggestions and remembering names and preferences. Faultless. Further the beds were super comfy and the breakfasts fabulous. We will be returning. "
