"The front desk staff were very busy checking-in people because of the on going conference with almost 700 attendees and and there were only 2 two them, the hotel did not provide additional staff to assist them."

"Uitstekend onderhouden hotel/type motel!

"Bellissima camera, vista lago stupenda"

"Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended."

There’s a restaurant on site as well. Being right next to the train station is a big plus, but trains are infrequent and there’s no elevator or escalator. And no direct service to the airport or to Milan. There’s not much to see in the town itself but it’s very close to Arona by train (four minutes). From Arona you can get...

"Decent for price"
