A lovely spacious family room with a large terrace and view of the lake. Beautiful and clean with a great bathroom. Breakfast was very good and the spa/ pool was perfect for a relaxing few days at the end of a busy holiday. Spa staff were lovely. Several casual dining options nearby which was great as restaurant less suitable for children/ relaxed dining.

Great end to our holiday

Fantastic end to our week touring north Italy. Spa facilities were brilliant and it was lovely to share them with our children Room was spacious with a large balcony. Only downside was pool and spa closed on Monday's until 3 but apart from that great! Breakfast was lovely too with a wide selection of things to choose from- something for everyone

Room was fantastic, very spacious and well appointed. Only disappointment was the ‘orange juice’ at breakfast was I think orange squash, shame not to have real juice at such a nice place. Freshly squeezed OJ was available to order at €5 but I think basic juice should have been available. Spa was possibly the nicest we’ve been. Staff everywhere were really helpful.

Wellness hotel at the limits of Varese city, close to lakeside (Capolago) and related parks. Wide , well furnished (wooden rural , not modern), large baths and shower. Great breakfast including fresh fruit, sweets, dairy and some meat items. The huge gym&wellness area, as well as the outdoor garden pool (summer only) are the pearl of the place. FYI - spa area closes at 20.00 a bit too early maybe. FYI - facility is member of Best Western BW Collection. Also this time a guarantee for great service and top facilities.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The lift could accommodate a decent number of people and calls at every floor. The room came with a small window that provided a good view of the sea. Whilst the room could be larger, everything else was comfortable and staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was in a very lovely restaurant with full glass frontage towards the sea. The common areas are visibly old, but acceptable and kept to the best of whatever condition it can be kept in. My only negative comment is that the bathtub is somewhat dangerous because it is quite high from the ground so I nearly sprained my ankle each time I got out of it.

We spent 2 rainy days here. We had a few other things to do around Varese, but back at the resort, the spa was very welcoming. There weren't too many people, so we basically had the indoor pool to ourselves. There was also a nice Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, etc, so we had plenty to do. I had a beautiful massage the second day. One negative thing, it was between seasons and the heat was still on, so the room was warm. We asked the front desk to turn off the fan and we left the balcony door open and we slept fine. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the restaurant for dinner or lunch, but the menu looked amazing. We will definitely return when in the area.

Far too hot room. Garden view actually means view of car park and a hedge. “Home cooked croissants” for breakfast are actually frozen ones cooked on site. Restaurant far too expensive and simply not good enough - only for meat eaters - no choices for vegetarians.
