"We really enjoyed our stay, albeit the manor was undergoing refurbishment. Room was clean, tidy, with some upgrades required, breakfast was ok, needs a broader provision of cereals, and cold buffet, cooked breakfast was very good, evening dinner meals were very good quality but expensive, staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to all, if the points raised were addressed then I would give 5 star "

"The check in at the property was super easy and friendly. The room was spacious clean and had a big bathtub, as well as it’s own private enclosed patio. The hotel has its own restaurant and is within walking to other restaurants. I, unfortunately, had a stroke while I was on the property and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The staff were immediately responsive, friendly and helpful in getting me care and exit out of the hospital via a disability ramp. They worked closely with...

"Great 2-day stay for a local event. Upgraded room was lovely and we used the spa too. Dinner was great with many gluten-free options. Only issue was poor breakfast options and having no coffee a big downer :("

Lovely relaxing stay
"It is a lovely hotel, very peaceful and quiet area. It could use a bit of redecoration in certain sites but it is clean enough and still very comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast is superb (I would say above average for the chain hotels) and this is one of the very few hotels where you can actually open the windows! (and there is a garden outside so it is actually pleasant to do). Swimming pool is again maybe a bit old but perfectly good and comfortable to use. It is a great place for a relaxing stay to detach from the daily stress; not so much if you really need a good wifi as this can be really sluggish, although maybe there is a way around it (I think they have some premium wifi service there but there will be likely an extra fee). "
