"Highly recommend this hotel. It is right on the water a little on the outskirts, but easy walk to boat taxis and the town. The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent. The room was awesome, I was in #8 which is at the very top with a great view of the lake. They have kayaks to use which I did early one morning to catch a sunrise. Breakfast was handmade every morning and was delicious - no menu, they just brought me a plate with coffee. They hosted a birthday party one evening which was a bit loud, but it was cool to experience a local fiesta."

"I have never been to a hotel with staff this wonderful. The views are idealic. The restaurant on site was excellent and a good value. We felt at home very quickly. The hotel only has 10 total rooms. We were able to chop it up and meet other guests. A+. Staff always cheerful and helpful! I only have one complaint that is the same at every other hotel I have stayed at around Lake Atitlan. That complaint is the dogs! They are barking all night and here is a disco which can get rather loud. The hotel actually has ear plugs laid out for guests when they checkin. "

"Highly do not recommend. The address is not correct. It took us up some stairs in a barrio where the location was not at. The pictures do not seem real based on where we stayed We had to go down a back alley which was dirty and sketchy. The room was not the same as the pictures even though we booked a delux room It was very loud from the club next door The owner sat us down to chit chat for 30 mins instead of letting us unwind on our honeymoon We booked because we thought it was a hotel but it’s clearly not a hotel There is no sign, no reception, no hotel lobby, it feels like I’m at the owners frat house which is not the depiction I got from the Expedia ad and pictures This building is unfinished building upstairs was still needed a lot of work. It felt more like a jail there is no windows in the room. This is unprofessional business owners must be held responsible of their wrong doing. Ripping people off showing them a place taking them to unfinished projects which is completely not what we paid for."
