Amazing place! So beautiful and located close to the gorgeous lake atitlan. The best food we had our whole time in Guatemala! The free breakfast was a lot of delicious food with choices. The staff was friendly and helpful and the gardens are well kept. We would definitely stay again!

It was wonderful. The people are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Toliman. Kayaking around the area was wonderful and it was included with our stay.

This hotel has a great restaurant and a very lovely garden that winds through the property. The garden is really a masterwork, and everything we had from the restaurant--10 meals in all--was very good. The pool doesn't get much sun so it was frigid in January and the hot tub was a bust. Hot water to our room wasn't great either. Most of the older restaurant staff were terrific, a couple of the younger folks could really use some training. The rooms span several locations (you definitely want a garden view) and sizes, so definitely book carefully. There isn't much to do in Toliman, and the boats from Toliman to anywhere else are a bit of trick, so plan accordingly.

Beautiful hotel with amazing gardens! Delicious food at the restaurant! Great service. The front desk arranged for a ride for us to Panajachel after we missed the ferry. Such an amazing, relaxing place!

Great place and little Town in Guatemala it has the options to kayak on the lake and also catch a ferry to the neighboring towns. We loved it the food was good in the restaurant also

The hotel is located on a main street, which is very noisy. Our room was facing that street. We couldn’t sleep well during our stay because we heard all the cars, buses and motorcycles going down the street, people walking/talking, and we even heard dogs barking. The hotel is nice and the room was clean, but maybe they could improve the windows so the noise could be isolated. The breakfast was pretty good!

This property is gorgeous! We loved sitting on our front porch area and enjoying the gardens. The place is gated and has security at all times so we always felt very safe on the property. The room was cleaned every day and it was always quiet after 10 PM. There’s a lot of amenities on the property. It was super convenient to walk over to the restaurant whenever we wanted a snack or a drink. We lounged by the pool and used their free kayaks. They were also able to help us schedule transportation to the airport. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great stay that’s a little off the beaten path.

The property is located very close to the lake, has amazing views, gorgeus gardens and there is a restaurant on site. The room was very clean, and was big. We went with family it had 3 beds, 1 king size, 1 double bed and 1 twin bed. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and you can include it which is very convenient. For Lunch and dinner the selections are limited, there is room for improvement. It used to be a very peaceful place we have been coming here for about 15 yrs now, unfortunately if you stay at one of the rooms close to the street it gets very noisy as the younger generations likes to drive their motorcycles until after 10-10:30pm, we were at room number 1. It can get hot but they give you a small fan, it can get cold at night but they have extra blankets. There are no security boxes so make sure you take padlocks and secure your belongins. Staff was amazing, everyone went above and beyond to hep us, we went with family members, senior citizens and they loved the place. If you want to visit Panajachel (about 20 minutes by boat) you can take public boat transportation Q25 per person ($3.20) once at Panajachel you can go to any other town paying Q25 per person, don't pay more. Do take into account that you have leave early as it can take 40 minutes to any of the nearby towns because it is public and they stop in every town. The hotel has many amenities so make sure you read the information they provide to you. We will definitely go back, this is a great place.

Hotel was ok for the price, we found a couple of scorpions in the bathroom and could not figure out where they were coming from. My parents requested a blanket that never came, all we got was an apology the next day. It was hard for them to sleep since it was cold. The food was ok but the menu was limited. They could also have a bigger screen for such a big restaurant. The location of the hotel is great, excellent view, and we appreciated the upgrade. The parking was convenient and easy to find. This was, without a doubt, the best option in the area.
