This spot was booked for our honeymoon. The lake town is vibrant and full of energy. We loved this establishment because it captured the beauty of the lake while allowing us to enjoy our time away from all the noise. The staff here made us feel fantastic and knowing they have a restaurant on site where all the staff get to know your name was fantastic. We went from town to town after our stay here and I wish we stayed in this hotel for the whole time.

Marce was sooo accomodating The property is got ground and so serene and easy to get to from the dock🔥 I highly recomend staying here. Especially if you’re traveling as a couple. The rooms have Amazing views and are so comfortable. Beautiful bathrooms and outdoor Spaces.

This hotel is fairly new so alot of construction is still happening and the road leading to the property is a bit rough. However, the staff is so pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious my entire stay and the hotel is very clean, rooms are also spacious. The bed was huge but way too hard for my liking so made it a bit uncomfortable. This was my favorite hotel stay of my two week backpacking trip. Usually I stay only one night and move on but after Nelson, Milton, and Adam took such good care of me, I had to extend my stay another night. Both my Deluxe and Superior rooms were perfectly appointed with amazing views. When I come back, this is my spot from now on! Breakfast was incredible as well; do not miss it!

Outstanding hotel with top-notch service and cleanliness! The layout of the hotel is unique and thoughtfully designed, with rooms arranged along ascending levels. This setup allows almost every room to enjoy breathtaking views. Room 1 (the suite) is located on the lower level—it's beautifully appointed and conveniently close to the dining area. Every detail reflects quality and care, making for a truly excellent stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Aviva. Rooms were really great with unique touches. The bed was probably the best I ever had. Great coffee service and lots of little lovely details. My husband and I traveled in search of a peaceful, relaxing retreat—and Aviva exceeded all expectations. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. Each morning, breakfast became more enjoyable than the last, featuring thoughtful touches and high-quality offerings. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer stunning views. The bathroom is generously sized, with reliable hot water, while the private terrace provides a quiet, serene space to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, surrounded by lush vegetation and breathtaking landscapes. The hotel’s architecture is contemporary and refined, with interior design that seamlessly blends form and function. During our stay, I appreciated a range of in-room amenities including the Sonos speaker, fireplace for cooler evenings, steam iron, French press for freshly brewed coffee, plush robes for a day of relaxation, and a high-quality hair dryer. Aviva caters to every type of traveler, offering a perfect balance between immersion in nature and modern convenience, supported by fast and reliable Starlink Wi-Fi. If you're arriving from another town on Lake Atitlán, keep in mind that the last public boat to Tzununa usually departs at 5:30 PM. After that, your only option for transportation is privately or to take a tuk tuk from nearby San Marcos La Laguna. Expect quiet evenings and early nights. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay and would return without hesitation—again and again.
