The problem is the air conditioning need to fix the air adjustment which is broken, the water heater is not properly working during the time of my stay.
Overall it’s a great hotel. Clean, friendly and efficient staff. It has spacious rooms and a real hot water bathtub. A rarity in the Philippines.
The only disappointment I had was the pool was closed for renovation. I wish had known that before booking and flying to Cebu. Otherwise it was a great hotel.
The location is convenient. Thus, the hotel is busy.
Cleaning of the rooms need to be inspected regularly. Maybe a daily inspection by Housekeeping Manager room by room or spot check. The furniture and floor were dusty but maybe because there were renovations being done next room.
New towels/bath rugs needed.
Breakfast was great but maybe have more variety.
Otherwise, I will stay there again. Staff is very accommodating in all areas.
Good customer service.
The leaking pipe that made water pour out of the overhead light in the bathroom. Then my party was forced to switch rooms in the middle of the night and I was not compensated for our trouble at all. I was and am very disappointed in this hotel. I also still have video of the incident which I am considering posting online if I am not compensated in some way for my troubles.
No bell man when we arrived , not one person helped us with our luggage . We stay here often and this is the first time our stay did not include breakfast . Very disappointed
It was near to a place where I had a meeting and I had stayed there before some years ago .

Bit of renovation going on so appreciate the distraction and challenge to the staff. Breakfast standard varied more selection would assist.
It is a good location
We’ve stayed here multiple times when passing through Cebu we’ve always had a pleasant experience but this time was a complete disaster . Usually there always someone at the front door to greet you and help you with your bags , not this time ! The door could care less . Then there was the renovation going on which was loud and smelled like chemicals in the lobby . Suppose to have WiFi and when we got to the room no WiFi . We called the front like 10 times and 10 times they said they will retry it and call us back , no call no WiFi , the next day we realized only the 2nd fl had internet and we brought this to the front desk and they moved us from the 2nd to 4th , so obviously they knew the only floor that had internet was the 2nd fl but played games with us for a whole day and lied about it . The restaurant was closed and had the breakfast buffet in one of the function rooms on the 7 th floor , what a nightmare . The food was disgusting , all left overs from a previous banquet , no real breakfast food what so ever . We’ve been loyal guests of this hotel for 2 years and we’ll never be back .
During the years we have used the Cebu Grand, we have seen improvements. Now breakfast was served on the 7th floor roof top, what was a good place to enjoy the views. Breakfast was alright, but still would like to have JUICE available instead of instant-powdered sweet stuff.
Room was large and comfortable, basic amenities and small complimentary bottles of water. Good bedding. Safe box installed and plenty of closet space.
Good service from the staff.
The place is outdated. Bed is so old. Ants all over the counter, AC not working good. If only I don't get charged to cancel my 13 days booking I would move to a different place. Will never recommend the place to friends. Saw some guests was smoking inside the room when I walked by and had their door open. 1:30am a guest with kids was making terrible noise down the hallways.
