One does not want to be in room 1 as when the curtains are opened you are looking at the pool and all of its occupants. No privacy hence no opening of the curtains to enjoy the view. Besides that, everything else was excellent."

"The property is a VRBO Style not a hotel. We had problems finding the place initially and had to call Pauline who was very helpful and came out so our Uber driver could get us to the property. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Our room had a beautiful jetted jacuzzi tub and fancy steam shower. Location is very well situated and about 8 minute walk to the pope Palace and adjacent restaurants."

"This hotel is a true gem in Avignon. I stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. My room was comfortable with a great AC, a little balcony, and stocked with an array of high end bath products. The central garden was a beautiful spot to rest after a day of walking around. "This is the closest place to heaven on earth I've ever stayed! The entire house is immaculately kept and the design of each room is both exciting and relaxing all at once. Every space smells of lavender! The staff is warm and helpful, and helped us book a couples massage in our room which was absolute perfection. The breakfast served each morning is incredible. I cannot recommend La Divine Comedie highly enough! "

"The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error."
